After You Qualify Planning Checklist

Use this checklist to think through the professional and practical steps that sit after training and assessment.

Professional readiness

Qualification is one part of moving into practice. Students should also understand the requirements and systems that protect clients and the practitioner.

  • Confirm insurance, First Aid, DBS and any professional-body expectations before offering treatments.
  • Check whether ARCH, CNHC, GNC or other membership routes require additional evidence or assessment steps.
  • Prepare consultation, consent, aftercare and record-keeping processes.
  • Ask Jane which next-step support is appropriate for your background and plans.

Clinic and visibility planning

Students planning a clinic, spa or retreat service should think about room setup, operating standards and realistic local visibility without relying on income promises.

  • Plan treatment room flow, privacy, hygiene, laundry, cleaning and storage.
  • Review equipment, consumables and supplier requirements before launch.
  • Prepare website, local search and referral visibility where appropriate.
  • Use the clinic owner pack if you are training staff or adding the service to an existing business.
