Standards

before shortcuts

Practice readiness

Students can discuss what needs to be in place before offering treatments, including client screening, consultation confidence, records and professional expectations.

Clinic room planning

Jane can talk through practical considerations such as treatment room setup, hygiene, dignity, privacy and equipment planning where appropriate.

Professional requirements

Insurance, First Aid, DBS, professional-body expectations and any future registration steps should be checked before moving into practice.

Ongoing direction

Post-course support is handled realistically. Jane can advise on appropriate next steps rather than promising an unlimited or guaranteed business outcome.

What happens after assessment?

After training and assessment, students should be clear about the professional requirements, insurance position, client records, consultation process and practical standards they need before offering treatments. Nottingham Colonic School does not promise business results, but it does help students think practically about the steps required to move forward responsibly.

Planning your next steps

  • Confirm professional-body, insurance and registration expectations where applicable.
  • Plan the treatment room, equipment, hygiene and client privacy requirements.
  • Build consultation confidence, client communication and record-keeping habits.
  • Think about local visibility, website content and clinic positioning without relying on unrealistic income promises.
  • Ask Jane which support is appropriate for your background and practice plans.

If you are planning a clinic, spa or retreat service, review the clinic owner pack and the team training route.
